We are Eco Rutas Travel, founded on 06 June 2019, dedicated to providing tourism services as an incoming and outgoing tour operator in the Antofagasta Region, specifically in San Pedro de Atacama.

From the beginning of the project to the present day, we have focused our efforts as an inbound and outbound tour operator on sharing the nature of the highlands and the local culture of our Antofagasta region. Our main visitors are from the Santiago metropolitan region, Antofagasta, and national and international tourists.

​

We offer the following tourist products: Atacama, Uyuni, Amazonia - Pampa and Amazonia Jungle, throughout the year. We are deeply committed to sustainability and caring for the environment, and we seek to achieve sustainable operations by 2030. 

The Eco Rutas Travel team consists of three people. Staff who feel deeply connected to San Pedro de Atacama, nature, and local culture as a family business.

Since 06 June 2019, we have established ourselves as a tourism service provider in San Pedro de Atacama. Eco Rutas Travel is located at Ignacio Carrera Pinto 470, and our main operations are conducted online and on site. Our main sources of publicity and passenger recruitment are via social media: Instagram, WhatsApp, our website, email, and telephone, which allows us to respond very quickly, efficiently, and clearly when sending the information requested by our customers.

Ensuring that our operations are as responsible as possible, maximising their positive impacts and minimising their potential negative impacts, and involving suppliers and customers in fulfilling the commitment we have made.

 

Our sustainable actions are governed by the standards established by SERNATUR through the S Seal for Tour Operators or Travel Agencies (hereinafter the S Seal Standard), maintaining these guidelines as the main focus of our efforts.

This document, "Sustainable Practices Manual," is a guideline for our administrative and operational activities, describing how the organisation partially or fully complies with the requirements of the standard, linking to the rest of the documents and actions implemented in the area of sustainability. 

 

To this end, it is a document that is constantly being revised, with the aim of implementing the necessary adjustments in line with the various changes experienced by the industry, the market, the applicable standards and the legislation in force for this commercial activity, enabling us to ensure that our processes and working methods are always up to date in accordance with these and other factors that may arise.
